Residence Reality & Continuity Review
Before deciding what should happen next, the owner needs a clear understanding of the residence, the circumstances surrounding it and the alternatives available.
D. GOLDENBERG FRÈRES ET CIE brings those questions together. The review considers what is known, what remains uncertain and which professional input is required.
A transaction is one possible outcome—not the purpose assumed at the outset.
The review may consider
The conclusion may be to retain, renew, reoccupy, lease, transfer, restructure, prepare for sale or defer action.
The four sections of the review
I
What can be established by observation, document and record.
II
What the residence carries beyond its title and its condition.
III
The paths genuinely open to this residence, set out plainly.
IV
D. GOLDENBERG FRÈRES ET CIE produces a concise Continuity Review or Residence Decision Memorandum. It addresses the owner’s objectives, the available information, the unresolved questions, the alternatives, the necessary professional work and the recommended next step—keeping evidence, assumptions and professional conclusions distinguishable.
The review is not a certified valuation, legal opinion, tax opinion, financing approval or technical certification. Specialist conclusions remain with appropriately appointed professionals.
Why the review comes first
A residence is often brought to a professional at the moment a transaction is assumed. The House prefers to establish first whether the transaction is the right question at all.
The review can be commissioned as a defined engagement on its own. It does not instruct D. GOLDENBERG FRÈRES ET CIE to sell the residence or to proceed to another phase; any next step requires the owner’s separate agreement.
Request consideration
A few considered sentences on the residence, the family circumstances and the reason the House is being approached are more useful than particulars.
Please do not submit passports, identity documents, bank statements, legal instruments, school records, medical information or other confidential material through this initial form.
The limits preserve the purpose
D. GOLDENBERG FRÈRES ET CIE is not a conventional family office, property portal, relocation company, private bank, law firm, tax practice, investment manager, construction company or concierge provider. The House is appointed for a defined matter of continuity. It does not assume permanent administration of the family's wealth, investments or general affairs.
Where an accepted matter requires specialist or regulated work, the House appoints or coordinates the appropriate professional.
D. GOLDENBERG FRÈRES ET CIE remains the point of continuity. Each appointed provider remains responsible for their professional work.
D. GOLDENBERG FRÈRES ET CIE is the House identity under which the advisory and stewardship practices described on this website are currently provided by DGF & Co Capital Services GmbH. Accepted mandates are entered into by DGF & Co Capital Services GmbH, registered in Berlin (HRB 219323 B), as identified in the engagement letter and legal notice.
